eTrans Energy

eTrans Energy was a Duke Energy pilot program that helped logistics and last-mile delivery businesses, municipalities, transit agencies, school districts, public authorities and other institutions across North America achieve optimal total cost of ownership for electric vehicle fleet operations.

I was asked to deliver a logo, color palette, fonts, and graphics.

The brief was “EV transportation financing, engineering, procurement, and construction company working with municipalities and delivery companies.” The name was the last piece of information I was given, and changed three times.

To make any progress, I started with the graphic elements based on what we knew about the company: EVs and transportation. Doing free word association - transportation, cars, navigation, maps - got me to topographical maps, which inspired the graphics.
